German version above. With the Kinky Indie Party, we want to create a meeting place – a safer space for everyone who would like to let loose in a kinky way and party to Indie Rock and Indie Pop. So it doesn’t always have to be Techno. The second floor is dedicated to 80s New Wave, EBM & Post-Punk. For this night, About Blank becomes a home for colourful, open-minded indie fans who want to celebrate their freedom and tolerance with like-minded people in a playful and uninhibited way, far from stuffiness and everyday life. Of course, such a sex-positive space only works under certain circumstances and rules: Dress code: Come revealing, sexy, creative or extravagant – whether neon-coloured and glittering or in black lacquer and leather, in a harness or sexy sporty. Let your fetish fantasies run wild. We reserve the right to refuse entry to guests wearing everyday clothing. Please also refrain from coming in a soldier’s uniform, an “Indian” outfit or other carnival costumes. If you are unsure about your outfit, feel free to contact us and get an OK. Entrance and cloakroom: Your outfit will be briefly checked at the entrance. You will then be guided directly past the dance floor to the cloakroom. There you can undress and change and hand in your coat and belongings. There will be no individual cabins. Ideally, you will already be wearing your party outfit underneath your street clothes and bring a bag for your clothes. Mobile phone & camera ban: So that everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves freely, there is a strict ban on photos and videos at the party. In the event of a violation, we will ask the people concerned to delete the recordings and leave the party. If you see guests who do not respect this ban, which protects everyone’s privacy, please inform us or a member of staff so that we can respond immediately. Awareness: With this party, we want to offer a safer space. Be open-minded and always respectful towards those around you. We do not tolerate any form of judgement or discrimination, especially based on sexual orientation, appearance, body, fetish or the embodiment of a preference. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, particularly of a sexual nature. The rule is: yes means yes. Pay attention to body language, too. A physical and unspoken no means no. Consent is valid only for this moment. If you meet someone again later that evening, be sure to discuss again whether touching or anything similar is allowed. Nothing should be taken for granted, so always abide by these rules regardless of your own condition, such as intoxication. If you notice, hear or see something, or find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, report it to our team immediately. Grabbers, gawkers and people who do not respect these rules and our guests will be immediately expelled from the venue – without a refund of the admission fee. There will be no play area. Feel free to be open and playful, but please make sure that nobody around you feels harassed, especially on the dance floor.
