Why “Tisco”? “Tisco” is a combination of the words “Techno” and “Disco” – a blend of contemporary Berlin club culture and retro disco flair. In the real world, the combination of “red” and “light” is often reduced to the idea of a “red-light district” – a narrative revolving around cis men who buy sex. As with all our events, we want to turn the world upside down. At Tisco, we create a dream world – a world that could not be further removed from the reality and power structures we know outside.
