The night of 31 October
Halloween Parties 2026
Costumes, fog machines and beats well into November. How scary the night gets is up to you.
Halloween goes back to the Celtic festival of Samhain and the eve of All Saints' Day, the night the boundary between the worlds was said to thin. These days it mostly means a costume, some decoration and a long night out. We've gathered the parties from 30 October to 1 November, from horror club nights to costume contests.

Halloween FAQ
When do the Halloween parties happen?
Halloween always falls on 31 October, but the celebrating starts the evening before and often runs into 1 November. That's why this page covers every party from 30 October to 1 November.
What is Halloween actually about?
The name comes from All Hallows' Eve, the night before All Saints' Day, and the customs trace back to the Celtic harvest festival Samhain. By way of Ireland and the US it became the costume night that now fills clubs everywhere.
Do I need a costume?
Most club nights encourage one, some require it, and many reward it with cheaper entry or a prize for the best outfit. Each event listing spells out what applies.
