AFTERWORK @ Frankfurt (Halloween-Special)

After the great premiere, we're carrying on with you - and since Halloween is actually two days later, we're simply starting on Thursday. On 29 October, Die Pracht turns dark: after work, jeans, everyday life and common sense are left at the cloakroom. All that remains are cocktails, flirting, a packed dance floor and a night that certainly won't feel like an ordinary Thursday.

Come elegant, dark, sinful or kinky. Vampires, witches and other beautiful creatures are very welcome. Costumes are not required, but please leave everyday clothes outside. You can date, catch up with friends, meet new people, flirt and dance here.

Music

Deep house, vocals and plenty of energy on the dance floor later on. At the turntables: DJ Shady Miles - resident at SubRosaDictum, FREUD Club and Fetish Fusion, playing across Europe, including ADE Amsterdam, KitKatClub Berlin and Streetparade Zurich.

Ideal for newcomers

The evening is deliberately uncomplicated. The only important thing is to follow the general "Joy rules of play": no means no, now and always.

Good to know:

• There is no changing room, but there is a supervised cloakroom - you can also change nearby.
• Men who register as a couple and arrive on their own will not be admitted.
• Photography is prohibited. Please take important calls or deal with messages outside.

Getting there

Die Pracht is an 8-10 minute walk from the main station, or take the tram to "Platz der Republik" or "Hauptbahnhof/Münchener Straße". By car: despite the construction work, Niddastraße is accessible to residents and visitors - parking is available on the street or in the Hbf-Süd or Mannheimer Straße underground car parks.

Hotels

If you'd like to stay: 25hours Hotel or Holiday Inn - the niu, both offer late checkout until 15:00/16:00 and lower rates if you mention "Pracht" when booking.

Dress code

Elegant, dark, sinful or kinky - Halloween looks are welcome but not required. The motto is still "smart": business wear, sexy, raunchy or risqué. For women, for example, a little or long black or red dress, heels, stockings, suspenders, patent leather, leather or latex - sheer or lingerie is welcome. For men, a suit or dress trousers with a shirt and jacket, leather shoes, and patent leather, leather or latex are also welcome. A smart pair of trousers and a jacket with sneakers works if it suits your style.

NO-GO: summer dresses, baggy jeans, ballet flats, ripped jeans, Bermuda shorts, ribbed undershirts, cowboy boots, T-shirts, trainers.

The door staff have the final say: if your clothing is not appropriate, you will not be admitted.
