BergWacht w/ Victor Ruiz Saturday, 21 November 2026 · Artheater Cologne For the last time this year, we are returning to Artheater and want to celebrate one more proper night with you before we say goodbye to 2026. For our year-end event, we have invited Victor Ruiz, an artist who made a lasting impression on us during his last visit in March 2025. Back then, he played at our joint event with Zwischenmiete at Schrotty and delivered one of the musical highlights of the night with his high-energy set. We are all the more excited to welcome Victor back to BergWacht and to bring the 2026 event year to a fitting close together with you. Victor Ruiz (VOLTA REC. / Drumcode) Brazilian-born Victor Ruiz has been an established name on the international techno scene for many years. With his distinctive sound, combining powerful basslines, driving rhythms and catchy melodies, he captivates dancefloors around the world. His musical roots reach far beyond electronic music. Victor started playing bass as a child, later taught himself drums and piano and gained his first experience in various bands. These diverse influences continue to shape his productions and give his sound a musical identity all of its own. After his first major successes in Brazil, his gigs increasingly took him to Europe from 2013 onwards, where he secured a place on the international club and festival scene within just a few years. Since then, Victor has regularly appeared on the stages of renowned clubs and festivals around the globe. He has also made a name for himself as a producer, with releases on labels such as Drumcode, Senso Sounds, Suara and Noir Music. His popular edits of well-known classics such as Breathe by The Prodigy and Everything Counts by Depeche Mode are another example of the diversity of his musical influences. With his own label, VOLTA, Victor has also created a platform that gives established and emerging artists space for their music while supporting social projects. Part of the proceeds from releases is donated to charitable organisations. What makes Victor Ruiz special to us, above all, is his energy behind the decks. His sets combine musical depth with tremendous dynamism and repeatedly manage to keep the dancefloor moving for hours. Anyone who saw him last year at BergWacht with Zwischenmiete at Schrotty knows what we mean. It is all the better that we will not have to wait too long to see him again after that fantastic night together. Support Of course, our last event of the year would not be complete without support from our own crew and our artist friends. We are especially looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, with whom we now share many musical memories and friendships. We are welcoming Amy Meinhouse back, an artist who has become a familiar and much-loved face at our events with UnderDive since her first BergWacht appearance in 2023. She has already joined us three times for our big summer specials at Artheater and impressed us musically every time. We are all the more pleased that she will be behind the decks again for our year-end event, opening the night in the Café with her sound between indie dance and house. We are also especially looking forward to Max Blumen and Julep|z from UnderDive. Max and Jules are the founders of our friend collective, with whom we have already put on numerous great nights and joint summer specials at Artheater. They have also become close friends of the BergWacht family. We are delighted that they will be joining us again for our last event of the year and adding their own sound to the musical programme. Our resident team also has two special b2b pairings for the year-end: Klarabell b2b Bernau and Liho b2b JuNi will share the decks and bring a generous dose of peak time and techno to make sure the energy on the dancefloor lasts until the end of the night.
