Carsten ‘Erobique’ Meyer is a genre all of his own. After every bus carrying the latest disco revival of the moment has passed him by — and come back again — over the past 25 years, there is simply no other way to put it. Whenever the word goes around that “Erobique is in Berlin”, countless dance-crazy people aged between 18 and 80 look forward to sweaty, almost sacred hours filled with improvised disco licks and hair-raising vocal performances.
