About This Event
Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to bring people together – just good music, an open space and the desire to dance together. When we organised the first Kiezschwoof – Dancing for Generations in April as part of the Gitti & Gerda project of Wassertor e.V., we didn’t know what would happen. What we experienced moved us: younger and older people danced together, laughed, chatted and shared an evening in which age suddenly no longer mattered. Especially at a time when generations often live alongside rather than with one another, encounters like these are more important than ever. They break down prejudices, create understanding and show that there is far more that connects us than separates us. Music has no age – and neither does the joy of life. That’s why Kiezschwoof is back for a second round!📅 19 September 📍 SO36, Kreuzberg 🎟️ Admission is free – everyone is warmly welcome! Come along – whether you’re 18 or 80. Bring your parents, grandparents, children, neighbours or friends. Together, let’s show how vibrant a neighbourhood can be when generations meet – as equals and on the dance floor. A very heartfelt thank you to SO36 for welcoming us back with Kiezschwoof. Together, we are creating a place where generations come together, prejudices disappear and community is celebrated. We look forward to seeing you! ❤️🕺💃
