Swing Ball 2026

On 27 November, Maison de France turns into a dancefloor! Together with dance school Swing Base, we invite you to an evening dedicated to Lindy Hop and Swing - open to beginners, experienced dancers and anyone who simply feels like dancing. The evening starts at 8 pm with an introduction to Lindy Hop, one of the best-known swing dances, which emerged from African-American jazz culture in the late 1920s. Afterwards, the evening continues with a DJ set and live music: from 9:30 pm, The Savoy Satellites - Jumpin' Six will bring the sound of the swing era to the stage. No previous experience is required - if you like, you can start the evening with the introductory class or join the dancefloor directly later on. Programme
