We do not list concerts or town festivals. Club nights, day raves, open airs, afterparties, bar evenings and festivals with a dance floor: that is the entire catalogue. If you want to know where people are dancing in Zürich tonight, you should not have to work through six Instagram accounts.

Why this exists
Working out where to go on a Friday night used to be manual labour: one club's Instagram, then the next one, then the promoter's own site, then a flyer somebody had left on the bar.
And if you throw the party yourself, your own channel mostly reaches people who already know you. So we built the opposite: a search that knows about parties and nothing else, filtered by city, distance, genre and date. The genres run from techno through metal to Schlager.
It is run by a sole proprietorship based in Pratteln, near Basel. No corporate parent. You notice that in the pace new features arrive at, and in the fact that a person sits behind the contact address.
Two minutes and you have got it
Friday evening, no plan, and finding one takes longer than getting there. That is where the video starts.
The narration and the subtitles are German.

What we cannot do
Four things worth knowing first.
The list is not complete
A party is here because an organizer posted it or because we imported it. Everything else is missing. Tell us when you spot a gap.
New accounts wait for review
A new organizer account's first party is checked by hand, and so is any series with more than ten dates. It costs hours and keeps the calendar free of spam.
French is Swiss-only
The German market runs in German and English. There is no French version there.
No app in the store
Partynado runs in the browser and can be added to a phone home screen as a web app. There is nothing to download from Apple or Google.
