What is Partynado?

Partynado Team

Friday night, you want to go out, and the question is always the same: Where is something actually happening tonight? You scroll through three Instagram feeds, ask in two group chats, and end up in the exact same club as last week. That's exactly where Partynado comes in.

Partynado is a party guide. We collect parties, club nights, concerts, and festivals in one place and keep it updated every day. The focus is on Switzerland, but Germany is included too. It costs nothing, and you can get started right away, completely without registration.

Just browse around first

To see everything, you don't need to register anywhere. Open the page, and you can search the entire database. There are plenty of filters: by city, by date (today, this weekend, next weekend, this week, this month), and by music genre, like Techno, House, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Rock, Pop, 90s, and whatever else is playing. If your wallet is empty at the end of the month, you can set a maximum price or just hide everything except the free parties.

And if you have no idea what you're even looking for: "Near you" takes your location and shows you what's happening within walking distance, sorted by distance.

Everything about the party at a glance

If you click on a party, you get the whole story. Photos, a countdown that ticks down live until the doors open, and the complete line-up. The line-up is my favorite part: Every act has a real Spotify card, and you can listen right away before you commit. Plus the description, the genres, a map of the venue, and ticket prices with availability. Even the weather forecast for the evening is included. Usually, that's enough to decide if the night is yours.

Found a party but still unsure? Add it to your calendar. Google, Apple, or Outlook, depending on what you use. You don't need a login for that.

If you prefer a bird's-eye view, use the map of Switzerland. Every city has its own page with everything coming up in the next two weeks. Handy if you're heading to another city for the weekend and want to know what's going on there. You can also dive in via genre pages, individual venues, or the profiles of your favorite artists.

Make it yours with a free account

Up to this point, everything worked without an account. A free account is still worth it, though, because it makes things more personal.

  • Tap the heart, and the party lands in your favorites. That way, you won't lose track of any.
  • Follow the organizers and venues you like. If they announce something new, Partynado lets you know, in the browser, in the app, or via email, however you prefer.
  • Save your filters, up to ten of them. Once a week, you'll get an email with matching parties on the day of the week you choose.
  • Buy and manage your tickets directly inside. QR code for your phone, PDF as a backup, and if you're ordering for the crew, you can forward the tickets via email. (You can select tickets as a guest, but you need to log in to buy them.)
  • At many locations, you can reserve your table using a floor plan.

Just to be honest, because this is often sold differently: We don't have a secret algorithm that already knows what you're in the mood for. Partynado becomes personal through what you set up yourself, meaning your saved filters and the people you follow. The account runs with an email and password, stays free forever, and comes from Switzerland.

The first click

On the homepage, a small tornado is spinning, hence the name. Don't let that hold you up for long. Type in a city, set a filter, and see what's going on this weekend. Find your party.
