Die ultimative 90er Party!

To be honest: what was your soundtrack in the 1990s? That decade had an incredible amount to offer, and no matter what you listened to – some anthems will stay in your memory forever. We remember the – fittingly for his name, extremely cool – Coolio and stepped into his «Gangsta’s Paradise». There was shriek-alarm when the boy bands came on stage, for example the Backstreet Boys. Then, of course, there was also Britney Spears, who urged us to say «Baby One More Time». And who still remembers the breakneck flow in the voice of Scatman John? Much copied at karaoke with friends, and you always embarrassed yourself because the lyrics just would not quite go down smoothly and the dance beats always seemed a bit too fast (or too slow?).

We first heard these sounds on the good old cassette tape (which is currently, incidentally, experiencing a small revival). Then came the CDs and with them the Discman. And with them also, at times, annoying experiences. What was it like again in the days before MP3s and streams, when the CD skipped? Especially when you had left it lying in the sun again or scratched it by leaving it lying around.

But never mind! Soon the next silver disc joined the collection, inspired by stories in the good old «BRAVO» (which star poster did you have at home?). Also typical of the 1990s: the long GZSZ evenings.

All these memories come flooding back when the 90s party is on at X-TRA and hits from back then are played cassette after cassette. And that is a good thing, because reminiscing is, after all, something lovely. Btw: If you want, you are also welcome to bring gadgets from back then – tinted sunglasses included.

So put the Game Boy aside and come with your friends on a journey through time. We are delighted to present: The ultimate 90s party!
