Be honest: what was the soundtrack of your life in the 1990s? That decade had an incredible amount to offer, and no matter what you listened to, some anthems stay with you forever. We remember Coolio - extremely cool, just as his name suggests - and stepping into his «Gangsta's Paradise». There was plenty of screaming when the boy bands took to the stage, such as the Backstreet Boys. And then, of course, there was Britney Spears, urging us to «Baby One More Time». And who still remembers the breakneck flow in Scatman John's voice? We copied it a lot at karaoke with our friends, and always embarrassed ourselves because the lyrics just would not quite flow gaaaaaanz as smoothly, while the dance beats always seemed a little too fast (or slow?).

At first, we listened to these sounds on the good old cassette tape (which, incidentally, is currently enjoying a little revival). Then came the CDs and the Discman. And with them came some annoying experiences, too. What was it like back in the days before MP3s and streaming, when the CD started skipping? Especially when you had once again left it lying in the sun or scratched it by leaving it lying around.
