The two acts are joining forces to put on a concert evening together in Lucerne. Mothers Pride as "Local Heroes" and the singer-songwriter from the Hinterland celebrate this special concert format and offer the audience a wide range of styles: a mix of Anna Mae's heartfelt chanson, country and folk and Mothers Pride's earthy, nostalgic pop-rock.

The four members of Mothers Pride impress with their stage presence and passion ("sheer joy of playing rock music"). The Lucerne flagship band is known for its authentic and energetic sound, which comes into its own especially live. After a break, they returned in 2007 with new material and most recently released the album "Wasted Years" in 2024.

When Mothers Pride was founded in Lucerne in 1990, Anna Mae was born in Willisau. Since starting out as a singer-songwriter in 2016, Anna Mae has been in contact with the legendary band from Lucerne, whose frontman Tobi Gmür has become her mentor. The singer-songwriter stands for depth, love and hope. She addresses current world events and creates songs that are entirely her own (new album "Sole Traveller", 2026).

An evening full of contrasts and common ground: the double concert at Lucerne's iconic Moderne offers a one-of-a-kind live music experience that aims to reach and bring together people from all walks of life. It is about capturing and celebrating a moment in life and creating memories together.

Anna Mae and Mothers Pride will play together for a whole evening for the local audience. Expect a moving show shaped by genuine joy in playing, friendship and passion. A celebration for fans of handmade Swiss music.
