Dreamboys The Band (DE)

Dreamboys The Band are not a band that was created on a drawing board. They are more the kind of band that found one another – between hotel rooms, Instagram DMs, living-room sessions and the quiet feeling that something was suddenly happening that was bigger than the sum of its parts.

Four songwriters based in Berlin, all in their twenties, all with their own musical histories – and yet carrying remarkably similar questions with them: How do you connect in an industry that often scrolls more than it listens? How does community emerge beyond algorithms? And what happens when you stop wanting to carry everything on your own?

The answer to all of this is Dreamboys The Band. Nina Caroline, Philippa Kinsky, Jo The Man The Music and VILLFORTH bring different biographies, but share a common language: international indie pop, sung in English and driven by strong harmonies, organic arrangements and a clear pop sensibility.

In December 2025, the four released a cover of „Dreams“ (Fleetwood Mac) – still under their solo names. The next step followed at the end of January: their first original single, „Jeanie“, was released alongside the official reveal of the band name. The song was also their entry for the 2026 ESC national selection, where they performed together as a band for the first time. Their second single, „Lovers“, was released in June 20226.

Musically, four distinct voices come together in Dreamboys The Band. All of them had already spent several years writing solo, and each brings their own influences: from Haim and boygenius to Tommy Lefroy and The Beatles. That is precisely where their strength lies.

What do they want to achieve? Good music. Lightness without ignoring difficult times. Songs that take things seriously without becoming burdensome. Community instead of competition. Friendship as a creative driving force. And the willingness to grow together – musically, personally and live.
