Failed Teachers - The Sedel Homecoming Party

"Failed Teachers", the minimalist punks with maximum hits, have been a true Sedel band for 25 years.

This is where they were born as a rowdy duo, grew up and came of age. Here they burned all their equipment on the forecourt, called the legendary Black Lips hippies and drove them off the stage, recorded a live spoken-word album and have been storing their instruments, uh, their junk in one of the cells for years.

So you can imagine the shock and disappointment at our place when the self-proclaimed sons of the Sedel chose to launch their brand-new album "We hate everything you adore!" last spring at the Schüür of all places!

After being threatened with various measures to punish this sacrilege, they have now decided to apologise for this faux pas.

On the Sedel stage. In front of everyone's eyes and ears.

To make amends, El Padre and Turbowolf will humbly and remorsefully fire a set of their greatest anthems into the crowd, shed tears, beer and blood and finally commit musical hara-kiri. In the vague hope of forgiveness.

Joining them at their big homecoming party are the up-and-coming anarcho-punks "Tierli im Wald". Unlike the privileged and success-spoiled Teachers, at least they still know that punk rock must be antifascist, diverse and radical, as well as loyal to its own scene.

In that spirit: Fuck the Teachers! Hail to the Sedel!
