About the party
During the week of our 13th anniversary, we look back while also celebrating what lies ahead. What could be more fitting than travelling back to a time when Kauz did not yet exist and launching a new concert series dedicated entirely to live jazz?
Yes, you heard that right.
Our nest was once home to the , a jazz club with a history of its own. We do not want to reconstruct that history, but rather bring some of its spirit back into the space together with Zurich's Half Notes collective: make jazz accessible to a new audience, offer musicians a platform and bring jazz and nightlife together.
The series opens on 5 November with a trio featuring Paul Amereller on drums, Xaver Rüegg on double bass and Leandro Irarragorri on piano.
Four more evenings will follow over the course of the season, bringing live jazz back to the nest.
