IKAN HYU (16+)

IKAN HYU - genre-bending rock duo

The explosive live shows by IKAN HYU have become an essential part of the European music scene. The way the two of them create the power of a "whole band" is as unique as the sound they create: free, glitchy, beautiful, profound and unpredictable. The two frontwomen each play up to three instruments at once. Hannah plays acoustic and electronic drum elements, a Kaossilator and a synth bass, while Anisa plays a drum pad and a self-designed electric guitar-keyboard hybrid that lets her play guitar and bass at the same time. They also sing, taking turns or singing together. With DIY artwork, merchandise, lighting elements and stage outfits created together with Anisa's sister Irina, IKAN HYU create a whole universe.

Now they're bringing their new album, due out in autumn 2026, to our club for a live show.

Advance tickets are strongly recommended!

Support: Taranja Wu

Taranja Wu is on her next mission! She'll be joining this show as the supporting act.

"The Swiss one-woman electro-punk sensation" TARANJA WU is something of a link between Suicide, Ian Svenonius, Sedlmeir and Voodoo Rhythm's Beat-Man, yet completely different and entirely her own.

Guitar in one hand and a well-loaded dose of attitude in the other, she tells it like it is. She settles scores with punky, rattling guitars, sawing synths and relentless pounding. In between, signals ring out as if someone had tapped into outer space and decided to make it danceable.

Her second album ALL MESSED UP is released on 4 September: a trip through controlled crash-outs, an album like a beautiful mistake, sweet enough to draw you closer, sharp enough to make you stay, served with a laugh you can't quite place. A dance through surreal imagery and a cocktail of musical madness that's as addictive as it is unsettling. And all of it dished out "With a Dash of Trash". Sound uncomfortable? It is, but it's hellishly danceable.

Taranja Wu has no intention of keeping quiet.

... Get ready to embrace the darkness and let Taranja Wu's twisted universe consume your soul...
