Out in the Loop x Sonic Shaman Festival

The Out in the Loop Festival at Neubad and the Sonic Shaman Festival in Taipei, Taiwan, come together for 24 hours on a shared stage. Identical setups at both venues, along with real-time, life-size audio and video transmission, shrink the distance between the two locations from 9500 km to 10 m.

The programme includes collaborative concerts, DJ sets, performances, talks and interactive workshops. These either take place at one location and are transmitted to the other, or are held jointly between the two sites.

Experience live collaborations, for example between musicians in Lucerne and dancers in Taipei, or a b2b DJ set by artists in two time zones six hours apart! And yes, audiences at both locations can see each other and communicate. How is that supposed to work? You'll see!
