The Celtic-punk band Paddy and the Rats unleashes a fireworks display of pace, melody and raw energy. Their sound: fast, gritty, infectious – a powerful blend of Celtic folk melodies and punchy punk rock. Between swirling fiddles, whistling tin whistles and driving guitars, they create a sound that catches fire immediately.

Formed in 2008 in Miskolc, Hungary, the band has earned a permanent place on the international Celtic-punk scene with albums such as Rats on Board, Riot City Outlaws and From Wasteland to Wonderland. Their songs combine folk tradition with punk attitude – direct, melodic and full of energy.

Their live shows are pure mayhem: loud, fast, sweat-drenched – a storm of fiddle, accordion and guitars, carried by choruses that everyone is singing along to within seconds.
