Powerful, undistorted vocals with German lyrics form an unmistakable symbiosis with the music, which stands out from the uniform sound of electro. This mix develops its unique power and atmosphere especially on stage.

PLAGUE PITS (CH)
Plague Pits are a minimal synth collective from Bern and Zurich. In the spirit of the cassette underground of the eighties, they play "cold wave for a heating planet" - disco music for the Anthropocene. Following a series of self-released tapes and LPs, their new album "Escalator to the Abattoir" was released on YOUNG & COLD RECORDS in summer 2025. The record connects lyrics about personal and social collapse with minimal wave steeped in early continental electronic post-punk. "A crackling, relentless and seething sound cauldron with a distinct personality, seamlessly evoking the clatter and clang of industrial wastelands, Kraftwerk-like clinical machine-funk rhythms, the lofty polyrhythms of Cabaret Voltaire, the surreal unpredictability of the Residents and the adrenaline-fuelled dancefloor new beat of DAF, Neon Judgment and Front 242, combined with a considerable wistful melodic appeal in the style of Euro-synthpop" (Fabrizio Lusso, White Light//White Heat).

Raw, hard and danceable. Cold and harsh electro influences are combined with catchy hooks to the rhythm of 80's punk.
Raderkraft's sound breaks through genre boundaries with staccato drum machine beats, analogue synths and Dutch and German vocals. Somewhere between minimal synth, wave and electro lies the distinctive sound of Raderkraft, the alias of Amsterdam musician, producer and songwriter Willem Stinissen. His passion for vintage synthesisers and drum machines, combined with a strong DIY ethos, has already led to several remarkable releases and performances across Europe. His sound was recently described as a modern crossover between Germany's 1980s DAF and Belgium's Arbeit Adelt! Armed with pulsating drum beats, driving basslines and quirky vocals, Raderkraft takes you into an energetic mosh pit of electronics and synthesisers.
