About the party
Probably the coolest open mic is back at Bar 59!
MCs from all over Switzerland are taking over the stage and jamming together - whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned OG, everyone is welcome! Freestyles, written lyrics - anything goes. Singers, beatboxers and poets are welcome too. There are several mics to grab, and the music is provided by fantastic local DJs bringing the most beautiful instrumentals. Entry is free, and there's no need to register.
Open mics are fundamental for rappers: you learn how to command the audience, overcome stage fright and, of course, try out new things and exchange ideas with one another. Rapanoia offers a stage for all of that.
