CUYUCHI & ZINU - RITMO UNION

On Friday, 18 September, Ritmo Union takes over the bar at Studio, with Cuyuchi & Zinu on the decks.

Cuyuchi is a Zurich-based DJ, digger and musical boundary-crosser with a deep love for disco, funk & soul, rare grooves and house. His selections move just as naturally through reggae and dub as they do through Latin, hip-hop and sounds from around the world - music is chosen less by genre than by groove, warmth and connection.

Zinu is part of Zurich's club scene and moves with a similarly open approach between riddim, dancehall, Afrobeats, hip-hop and electronic club music. As the founder of Orbit Radio, booker and label manager, her work is closely connected to discovering, curating and sharing new music.

Together, under the umbrella of Ritmo Union, the two find common musical ground: warm grooves and global sounds spanning funk, soul, house, Afro and Latin - open to anything with rhythm and the power to connect different musical worlds.
