Schnautzi présente Dancehall Rave + Kevin Table

After twenty years of bringing rave, bass music, reggae and dancehall into collision, Schnautzi opens a new chapter: Dancehall Rave. Not a simple DJ set, a manifesto. The fruit of all those nights spent sensing where reggae-dancehall bass and techno trance meet, until bodies become one on the dancefloor.

Dancehall Rave is a conversation between two worlds that should never have missed each other: the dub sirens of Lee Scratch Perry against the Reese basslines of Kevin Saunderson, dancehall riddims against techno rhythms. It comes from the squats of the 90s, from 7- and 12-inch vinyl records passed around under the counter, from the Jamaican heritage that eventually gave birth to jungle, hardcore, UK garage and hip-hop.

Here, sound alone is not enough: music, dance, VJing and graphic design collide to create a complete experience. Kevin Table, a figure in electro dance, takes the controls and catapults the dancers into a space-time portal where past and present collide.
