About the party
Electroclash, Alternative dialect, No Wave
A hundred years ago, they would have been called "unfeminine". Eccentric. Overwrought. Nervous. Hysterical. Maybe even mad.
The only catch: it was precisely then that the electric guitar was invented. And Sister Rosetta Tharpe - yes, a woman! - laid the foundation, with a powerful voice and nimble fingers on the guitar neck, for what later came to be called rock'n'roll.
A hundred years later, fortunately, we no longer have to ask anyone for permission.
Hellvis (LU) - Electroclash
Ziper (LU) - Alternative dialect
Héloïse (ZH) - No Wave
Three bands. Female voices. Driving drums. Distorted guitar riffs.
Unfeminine? Overwrought? Too loud?
Good.
