About the party
Baptiste Cazaux turns everything upside down. With an explosive, almost eruptive body, Baptiste dances as DJ samples, genres and references collide. "That's twisted" is a ghostly, multilayered collage: a psychedelic strategy for overcoming nostalgia.
Britney Spears sings: Keep on dancing 'till the world ends, Ke$ha says: The party don't stop and LMFAO shuffles through an abandoned, devastated New York after a dance epidemic that drove people mad.
For Baptiste Cazaux, the many crises of recent years are the starting point for turning to the pop anthems of the 2010s: Post Crash Party Pop, music after the stock market crash. The past is over, there is no future and the present (already in ruins) becomes the only space in which it is essential to live it to the full.
