The Dorks

Granny's Cheesecake
GRANNY'S CHEESECAKE - Their sound rises like Grandma's cheesecake. The Lucerne rock band fired up the oven and their tube amps for the first time in 2024. Since then, they have passionately rocked stages across French- and German-speaking Switzerland (Open-Air Plage Salavaux, Ahoi-Festival, Fête de la Musique Lausanne, Wetterhorn Hasliberg and many more).
How did the band come about? Singer and guitarist Florina Tara put together a live band for her album launch in 2023. The result: she has not been able to get rid of the band since. They are experimenting with recipes that are rock-oriented but also acoustically airy, for the tastiest cheese... uh, music song. Served hot, beware of burns!
