About This Event
Since their last album (2017), things have been quiet for Triggerfinger for quite some time. In autumn 2025, the band from Antwerp finally released their first new song: “Stars” was met with a positive response from both longtime and new fans alike. With a 25-date tour, the band returned to the international live stages – most of the shows were sold out.
While “Stars” still showed a clear connection to their earlier repertoire, the second single “Come Clean” (January 2026) already hints at a shift in the band’s musical DNA. In collaboration with Mitchell Froom, an album has been created on which Ruben and Mario step out of their comfort zone, explore new ways of composing, and venture into the unknown. The result shows that Triggerfinger are among the few European rock bands that outlast trends and hype – and they are back stronger than ever.
The long-awaited album will be released in September 2026. It is the first official work without Monsieur Paul – the band’s former bassist, who sadly passed away in 2025. Geoffrey Burton now takes over on bass live. He is considered a brilliant musician and has already played with Grace Jones, Iggy Pop, and many others. Like Paul, Geoffrey was originally a guitarist, which led him to develop a very distinctive approach to the bass.
