For more than nine years, Marco «Güschä» Gurtner and Nico Siempre have been serving up a new episode of their podcast Übertribe Mit Stiu every week on the digital entertainment buffet. Unfiltered, personal and with a generous helping of attitude, the two talk about everything – and sometimes about nothing at all. Live on stage, however, they serve it all up in bite-sized portions. And when they take to the stage, they never do so without their bingo set. Fascinated by the club lotteries held in the hallowed halls of the city’s Expo grounds, or in the charming little dining rooms of Swiss pubs, they have created their own version of this popular social game. Some call it lotto, others bingo – at ÜMS, it makes no difference. The whole number-drawing affair is wonderfully embedded in an entertaining show that turns into a full-blown event, leaving no eye – and probably no throat – dry. And, naturally, there are some brilliant prizes to be won too.
