In 2027, DELAIN will open a new chapter and bring an extraordinary concert format to the stage. Together with Marko Hietala and other guests, they will create a unique live experience that connects the band's past and future. Fans can look forward to a special evening that goes beyond a classic tour show.

Over the course of more than two decades, DELAIN have established themselves as a mainstay of modern melodic metal. Ever since their debut album "Lucidity", the band have stood for a distinctive blend of catchy melodies, orchestral arrangements and powerful guitars. Albums such as "April Rain", "We Are the Others" and "The Human Contradiction" have shaped this journey, while "Dark Waters" (2023), with top-ten placements in Germany and the US Hard Music Charts, marked their biggest success to date. At the heart of the band is mastermind Martijn Westerholt, who founded DELAIN after leaving Within Temptation and has continued to develop the band ever since.

In February 2027, DELAIN will embark on a tour with a special concept: instead of a classic show, audiences can expect a specially curated live format featuring a rotating line-up of acclaimed guests and musical surprises. The renewed collaboration with Marko Hietala will also be at its centre, building on a shared past that produced some of the most defining moments in the band's history. Further participants will be announced at a later date. At the same time, the band are working on new material that is due to be released ahead of the tour and will usher in this new phase. With only a few selected dates, this tour promises an intense and unique concert experience that goes far beyond an ordinary live evening.
