In November, we present the heaviest metalcore package of 2026. Leading this relentless touring convoy are scene giants ERRA, who will mark another milestone in their successful career with the new album “Silence Outlives The Earth”. Support acts Currents, Caskets and Aviana will provide multiple coregasms.

Founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2009, ERRA have devoted themselves entirely to progressive metalcore. With a refined blend of heaviness, atmosphere and cosmic melancholy, ERRA have been among the genre’s most reliable names for years. Technical guitar work, atmospheric layers and the contrast between harsh screams and clean vocal lines define their style. In summer 2025, ERRA offered a first taste of their seventh album with “Gore Of Being”. Just one week after its release, they followed up with another single: “Echo Sonata”. The track offers further insight into the direction in which the band’s material has developed. Guitarist and vocalist Jesse Cash comments: “’Echo Sonata’ feels like a return to our roots for the band. The song recalls the spirit of our 2016 album ‘Drift’ – something we hadn’t actually intended, but our friends immediately noticed when we played them the track. It represents the kind of melody and emotion we are aiming for with the new album.” In January, the third instalment followed in the form of “Further Eden”, along with the announcement of their new album “Silence Outlives The Earth” for 6 March 2026. “Further Eden” brings fresh energy to the band once again. Cash: “’Further Eden’ was a song Clint Tustin started, and we developed it together in the studio. Its pentatonic foundations give it a lighter energy than we normally use, and the song feels like a fresh form of expression for the band.” The current ERRA line-up consists of Joseph Thomas Cavey (vocals), Jesse Cash (guitar, clean vocals), Alex Ballew (drums), Conor Hesse (bass) and Clint Tustin (guitar). With “Silence Outlives the Earth”, the band deliver an album that builds on their established strengths while placing an even greater emphasis on mood and spaciousness. The sound remains technically accomplished, but the songs feel airier and, at times, more reflective. Rather than relying solely on crushing intensity, the record repeatedly opens up space for melody and atmosphere. Another masterpiece for fans of modern metalcore productions with progressive influences.

CURRENTS: Connecticut metalcore/djent band Currents are known for their dark, atmospheric sound, featuring heavy breakdowns, brutal riffs, djent guitars and melodic passages – a style once described as a “wild blend of Born of Osiris, Fallujah and Make Them Suffer”. Vocalist Brian Wille’s shifts between clean singing and screams are also a defining element of the band’s style. Currents have toured with scene heavyweights such as August Burns Red, Parkway Drive and Fit For A King, and are known for intense live performances and honest, often existential lyrics. In January 2026, Currents released their new EP “All That Follows”. “These are some of our favourite songs to date and the beginning of a new chapter for us. We let this one get very close to our hearts and trusted our gut about what we really wanted. These songs are an exercise in independence, experimentation and collaboration within the band on a scale we had never known before,” says vocalist Brian Wille. “Here we explore disillusionment, inequality, betrayal and the ambiguity of life and its meaning. This world can be both a wonderful and a terrible place. And whether good or bad, we pour all these experiences into our music. Even if the result is rarely a happy story, sharing it all with you is always a positive and liberating experience.”

CASKETS: The English city of Leeds is home to Caskets, who have already made a considerable impact on the post-hardcore scene with three albums since forming in 2018. Their songs skilfully combine melody with heaviness, catchiness with epic scale, and alternative metal with post-hardcore – making them tailor-made for the biggest stages. Following a sold-out tour of Europe and the UK in early 2025, and an extensive US tour supporting Memphis May Fire, Caskets return with eleven new songs packed with crushing riffs and soaring melodic lines. This album is the natural evolution of the band’s sound and a sign of their growth and musical maturity over the years. Following the departure of founding member Christopher McIntosh, the new album “The Only Heaven You’ll Know” was recorded for the first time as a four-piece consisting of Matt Flood (vocals), Benji Wilson (guitar), Craig Robinson (guitar) and James Lazenby (drums). This has not diminished the result in any way. AVIANA: Hailing from Gothenburg, Aviana have established themselves as one of Europe’s heaviest and most innovative metalcore bands. In 2022, they released the album “Corporation”, which combined cinematic soundscapes with brutal riffs and raw emotion, taking the band into a darker, more ambitious phase. There were also personnel changes. The project evolved from a classic five-piece into the creative vision of vocalist Joel Holmqvist. From then on, he was joined live by a masked collective whose identities remained secret. Singles such as “Delirium”, “Father”, “Storm”, “Ablaze” and “Evermore” laid the foundation for the next album, which continues the band’s intense, atmospheric and relentless energy. With “Void”, Aviana once again cross genre boundaries and cement their place among the heavyweights of modern metalcore.
