SOLO FOR FLOOR

As the singer of Nightwish and After Forever, Floor Jansen has thrilled the symphonic metal world for the past three decades. With her first solo venture, “Paragon”, the Dutch singer proved that she possesses one of the strongest and most versatile voices in the entire music scene. In spring 2027, Floor Jansen will come to Pratteln with her second solo album.

She began her career in 1997 with After Forever, one of the first symphonic metal bands ever, before becoming the outstanding frontwoman of Finnish multi-platinum sellers Nightwish in 2013. Today, Floor Jansen is regarded as one of the best singers in the world and draws attention with her powerful, emotional and versatile vocal style, which spans a wide range of musical genres. The classically trained soprano can do it all, from enchanting clean vocals and powerful belting to rough shouting and growling. Alongside her work with After Forever and Nightwish, the singer has also made numerous guest appearances with fellow artists such as Sabaton, Ayreon, Devin Townsend, Epica and Avantasia. In 2026, she is taking advantage of Nightwish’s break to appear on stage more frequently as a solo artist. Two shows supporting Sabaton are planned for May, several festival appearances are scheduled for the summer, and in autumn she will return to the stage for two exclusive club gigs in the Netherlands. The concerts at the end of October in Groningen and at the beginning of November in Amsterdam will kick off a tour featuring new material, which will also bring Floor to Z7 in January. The follow-up to her first solo album, “Paragon” (2023), is ready to go and, according to the singer, is intended to sound like the Floor that Nightwish fans know and love. She also plans to perform the songs from “Paragon” in an enhanced and “metalised” version at her upcoming concerts. Sounds like a perfect evening for fans of Nightwish, After Forever and Floor Jansen’s unique powerhouse voice.
