KUNZ is back! As the “Stadt Land Fluss Poet”, the award-winning Lucerne dialect musician presents eleven brand-new songs. Whether a sparsely arranged ballad or a driving pop anthem, they are all declarations of love for life.

Even the now father of four is not quite sure how he found the time to make his seventh studio album: “It happened, so to speak, between one thing and another,” says KUNZ with a laugh. And perhaps that is precisely why “Stadt Land Fluss Poet” is such a triumph: because its creator is right in the midst of life. A poet of everyday life who gives meaning to small things and shines a light on ordinary people: “Every little person is ‘the world’ to someone,” says Kunz. He captures this beautifully in “Die ganzi Wäut”, his duet with Anna Känzig.

Here, he encourages us to embrace the beautiful things in life: “Happiness is fleeting, embrace it while you have it!” The master of dialect folk looks 99 years ahead and 99 years back. “Even back then, people felt that the world was coming to an end,” says KUNZ. “If I can give people a little hope and encourage them to hold on to their confidence, then that’s a good thing.” He does so with infectious joy for life. That is powerful. Because optimism is not for the faint-hearted.
