Orden Ogan are at the forefront of modern power metal – dark, melodic and technically accomplished. Classic metal structures meet cinematic scope and a strong sense of atmosphere and storytelling. In January 2027, Orden Ogan will bring their new masterpiece “Lords Of The Grave” to Z7 – accompanied by Finnish folk-metal giants Ensiferum as a top-class special guest. Band leader Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann explains: “Although we come from different subgenres, our styles complement each other brilliantly. This tour combines epic power, melody and intensity at the highest level – exactly what both bands stand for.”

Germany’s melodic-power institution Orden Ogan are set to make a powerful start to the 2027 concert year. The new tour begins in Munich on 7 January, and the new album “Lords Of The Grave” is released the following day. With two consecutive top-three albums (“Final Days” and “The Order of Fear”), an almost completely sold-out headline tour in 2025 and massive festival shows that have long reached headliner level, Orden Ogan are among the dominant forces in modern power metal. Hardly any band in the scene combines epic narrative worlds, monumental live shows and such a loyal fan base at this level. Following their joint tour with Wind Rose, Orden Ogan are now announcing their biggest and most ambitious concert tour to date: the “Tour Of The Grave”. The new album marks the band’s next stage of development. Musically, “Lords Of The Grave” continues along its chosen path without compromise: darker, more powerful power metal, driven by massive walls of guitar, majestic melodies and choruses made for arenas. Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann tells us what to expect from the next tour: “An even more epic show than ever before. Anyone who knows Orden Ogan knows that our shows are always one huge party with the audience – but this tour will be the biggest party of them all.”

Ensiferum, one of Europe’s most influential folk-metal bands, will also take the stage. For decades, the Finns have combined Nordic folklore with melodic heaviness, anthemic power and epic choruses. With their unmistakable blend of folk, Viking and melodic death metal, Ensiferum have built a loyal following around the world and are one of the defining bands of their genre. Their shared history with Orden Ogan goes back a long way: in 2008, Ensiferum already performed as headliners at the WinterNachtsTraum Festival organised by Orden Ogan. Almost two decades later, two established European metal acts are meeting again – a package that combines epic melodies, powerful heaviness and captivating live energy.
