CREATIVITY AND DEPTH
For four and a half decades, Queensrÿche have been one of the defining forces in progressive metal. With landmark albums such as “Operation: Mindcrime” and “Empire”, the band made music history and influenced generations of metal and prog musicians. Their sound combines technical finesse, powerful melodies and complex song structures to create timeless anthems. Queensrÿche also continue to prove live why they remain one of the finest bands in the genre.
Queensrÿche burst onto the music scene in 1982 with the release of their self-titled 4-song EP. They quickly gained international recognition and played to sold-out venues around the world. With their first album, “The Warning”, in 1984 and the groundbreaking “Rage For Order” in 1986, Queensrÿche cemented their global dominance as one of the most creative bands of the 1980s. In 1988, Queensrÿche released another monumental album, “Operation: Mindcrime”, which became one of the ten best-selling concept albums of all time and laid the foundation for further sold-out concerts around the world. With the release of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful album “Empire” in 1991, the band received several Grammy nominations and won the MTV “Viewers Choice Award” for the number-one hit “Silent Lucidity”. In the years that followed, the band released further albums and toured the world. To date, Queensrÿche have sold more than 30 million albums and continue to push their creative process forward. They built a loyal fan base by touring the world with other rock greats such as Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Judas Priest and Def Leppard. In recent years, they have consistently delivered high-calibre live shows, combining the untamed energy of a new band with the experience of countless concert tours. Even with eleven gold and platinum awards and several top-10 hard rock anthems inextricably linked to the genre, Queensrÿche show no signs of slowing down. In fact, the formidable group led by singer Todd La Torre (since 2012) and founding members Michael Wilton (guitar) and Eddie jackson (bass) is currently experiencing a creative renaissance. In October 2022, the band from Bellevue, Washington, reached another milestone in its career with the release of its 16th studio album, “Digital Noise Alliance”. The next one is set to follow soon. The highest quality is guaranteed. Once again, Queensrÿche bring out all the trademarks that have always defined them: dark melodies, a high degree of variety and catchiness, profound lyrics, big choruses and impressive musical skills.
