SCHANDMAUL ARE BACK ON THE OPEN ROAD

After five years of calm, it is finally time to set sail again! Schandmaul return to the big stage with their new album Sternensegler, bringing their unmistakable blend of folk, rock and storyteller magic to Z7. On 05.03.2027, the band invites its loyal followers to set off together into new musical waters. As a special opening act, Franconian folk rockers Gossenpoeten will contribute the evening's first chapter.

Originally conceived as a musical signal of departure after a prolonged dry spell, Sternensegler (released in mid-2026) marks the beginning of a fresh era for the Munich folk rockers. The seven musicians present themselves as more united than ever and boldly take the next step in their development. With their new record, which combines catchy melodies, poetic lyrics and impressive soundscapes, Schandmaul expand their familiar sound with new facets - without losing sight of their roots. Led by bandleader Thomas Lindner, who moves effortlessly as ever between guitar and keyboard, the line-up has recently been strengthened by frontman Till Herence. With his distinctive voice and fresh energy, he brings additional dynamism to the stage, while the band, a close-knit crew, sets course for a new chapter. Together, they invite their audience to throw everyday life overboard and sail with them through stories, myths and adventures - entirely in the spirit of that Schandmaul magic that has been moving hearts and feet for years.

Gossenpoeten: The "friendly drinking companions from their Franconian homeland" have been travelling across the stages of clubs and festivals throughout Germany for more than 7 years. With their debut album "Nah am Folk" (2018) and their second record "Tavernentempler" (2020), Gossenpoeten made a meteoric and likeable entrance into the folk scene. The band, originally consisting of the four members Darian der Dichter, der Wandervogel, Fynn der Vagabund and die Füchsin, grew in 2023 with the addition of Herr Frischbier and his raw drums, giving their feel-good folk a new edge. Since 06 October 2023, they have been blasting their third record, "Weltenbummler", into your ears! Inspired by world events, experiences from the road and the search for the sea, the new album is wonderfully diverse. More serious lyrics meet cheerful melodies and party songs guaranteed to get stuck in your head. From tavern templars to globe-trotters.
