Symphonic metallers Serenity are coming to Pratteln next spring with a new album. The "Melancholia Tour 2027" will bring not only new songs and a selection of classics, but also the chance to hear former vocalist Clémentine Delauney (Visions of Atlantis) once again, as she will lend the band her powerful support on several songs. Italian power metal pioneers Secret Sphere will join them as the opening act. The opening act will be announced shortly.

Fans of symphonic and opulent metal sounds have long felt their hearts race at the name Serenity, as the Austrians have continued to refine and virtually perfect their sound over the years. They tell stories from times long past, underscored by highly memorable melodies and an incomparable sonic spectrum. The band is a prime example of epic symphonic and melodic metal, mastering the balancing act between hardness and heartfelt emotion with flying colours. Twenty years have passed since their first album-two decades in which the band has brought its gripping, orchestral sound, at times enhanced by mighty choirs, to stages across Europe on numerous headline tours and as support for bands such as Epica, Delain and Leave's Eyes. Along the way, they have established themselves as an unmissable live act. Every one of the band's albums is a symphonic metal masterpiece, showcasing the members' exceptional musicianship and powerful songwriting. In spring 2027, Serenity will take their new album "Melancholia" on a major European tour, celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their debut album. Alongside the new songs, fans can also look forward to numerous classics from two decades of the band's history. A particular highlight of the tour will be guest appearances by former vocalist Clémentine Delauney (currently with Visions of Atlantis and Exit Eden), who will take over the microphone on selected songs. The tour promises unforgettable concert evenings and very special moments for long-standing companions and new fans alike.

Secret Sphere are regarded as pioneers of the Italian power metal scene. For three decades, they have helped fly the flag for the movement alongside fellow countrymen Labyrinth and Rhapsody Of Fire. Led by guitarist and producer Aldo Lonobile, the band, founded in 1997, has already released ten studio albums, toured over the years with scene greats such as King Diamond and Gamma Ray, and performed at festivals throughout Europe. With "Blackened Heartbeat", their second album since the return of exceptional vocalist Roberto Messina, Secret Sphere most recently delivered an unusually dark and hard-hitting record. It remains to be seen in which direction the band will develop with their upcoming album. One thing is certain: these prog/power metallers release one high-quality record after another without ever compromising on quality.
