Since the release of their debut album in 2006, alternative rockers Takida have been on the fast track. With their mainstream-friendly rock radio fare, the band first won over their home country and eventually all of Scandinavia. At the latest since the release of their 2024 album “The Agony Flame”, the multi-platinum musicians have been winning over rock fans throughout Europe with their catchy songs.

They top radio airplay charts, perform at ever-larger venues and bring their unmistakable sound to a continuously growing fanbase. Swedish multi-platinum outfit Takida is moving from one success to the next. In 2023, the band embarked on their biggest tour to date, taking them through sold-out arenas in their home country and onto major festival stages across Europe. This included one of the main stages at Wacken Open Air. Their “Smoke & Mirrors” tour in April 2024 continued the success story with sold-out shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Their latest album, “The Agony Flame”, raised their profile even further. The album also saw the band enter the Swiss charts for the first time. Once again, the long-player embodies Takida’s unmistakable sound, with its infectious, anthemic choruses. Singer Robert Pettersson is in absolute top form. With “The Lonliest Hour”, the first track on the album, released in advance as a standalone single and entering the German Rock Radio Airplay Charts directly at number one, Takida achieved their biggest radio success to date. “The Agony Flame” also offers further hit contenders with powerful and emotional songs such as “Your Blood Awaits You”, “Third Strike” and “On The Line”. These songs take Takida’s captivating live sets to the next level. The band has now announced their return to Pratteln in spring 2027.
