Tripkid from southern Germany are writing the soundtrack for a generation caught between fear of commitment and the search for love, between therapy appointments and the boxing club, for those days when it feels like your head might burst. The songs on their self-titled debut album, released in March 2025, consistently defy musical pigeonholing and move effortlessly between pop-punk, rap, dark synth sounds, acoustic ballads and unexpectedly heavy guitars, while all of them feature hooklines that immediately stick in the listener’s head. In their lyrics, Tripkid explore themes such as breaking taboos, romance and the dystopian urge for self-destruction. Six months after its release, the album has already racked up more than 1.5 million streams – and the number is still rising. The band has announced the release of several new singles in the near future, set to continue their success story even more decisively, as the million-click feminist track «Unsere Schwestern» proves. In 2026, Tripkid will also come to Lucerne as part of their «Mindf*ck» tour and can be experienced live.
