Baschi’s Homecoming Concert

22 years of songs in Swiss German – 40 years of Baschi. One month after his milestone birthday, the celebrated singer from Gelterkinden is coming to Z7 with new songs and a new show. The concert in Pratteln will be another homecoming concert for Baschi.

No one in Switzerland needs an introduction to Baschi. Ever since he took part in the talent show MusicStar, which was broadcast on Swiss television between November 2003 and March 2004, the entire country has known him. Although he was eliminated early after finishing in sixth place, he was signed by a major label. His success story began. In 2004, Baschi received the Prix Walo award for “Best Newcomer”. Twenty years later, he won a Swiss Music Award for “Best Male Act”. In between, he built an unparalleled career. He released eight albums, five of which reached number one in the charts. His journey is marked by numerous gold and platinum awards – his football single “Bring en hei” even went double platinum. In 2020, Baschi was crowned the winner of “The Masked Singer Switzerland”. In 2023, he appeared on the popular series “Sing meinen Song”. The musician captivates audiences with honest lyrics, catchy melodies and an unmistakable stage presence. Many of his songs have become classics. But Baschi is not resting on his laurels: “I am currently working intensively on my new studio album and look forward to celebrating the new songs on tour with my fans.” With his upcoming tour, Baschi seamlessly follows up on the successes of recent years and brings his fans even closer to the person behind the music. Honest, direct, passionate and always full of humour. Just as people know and love him. In 2024, at the open-air event “Willkommä Dähei – 20 Jahre Baschi”, he looked back on his entire musical journey together with thousands of fans in the village square of his birthplace, Gelterkinden. Two years later, we will celebrate his 40th birthday at Z7 with familiar hits and new material – just a few S-Bahn stops from Gelterkinden. Chum bring en hei!
