HARD ROCK ANTHEMS À DISCRÉTION

CoreLeoni, one of the most successful Swiss hard rock bands of today, will take the stage at Z7. The project founded by Gotthard founding member Leo Leoni has been thrilling audiences for years with its rousing blend of timeless hard rock anthems and fresh original material. As co-headliners, they are bringing 90s heroes Tyketto to Pratteln with their brand-new album.

CORELEONI: When Leo Leoni founded CoreLeoni in 2017, he wanted to breathe new life into the songs from Gotthard’s early years. What was initially intended as a tribute to the beginnings of one of Switzerland’s most successful rock bands quickly developed into an independent band with an international reputation. Alongside reinterpreted classics, original compositions soon found a permanent place in the repertoire. With their studio albums to date, CoreLeoni have established themselves as a leading force in melodic hard rock, impressing with powerful guitars, big melodies and first-class songwriting. Since 2022, exceptional Albanian singer Eugent Bushpepa has been on lead vocals, giving the songs a distinctive touch with his powerful voice. Together with Leo Leoni, guitarist Jgor Gianola, bassist Mila Merker and drummer Alex Motta, he forms a well-rehearsed line-up that impresses on stage with joy, virtuosity and passion. The current album «Generation Rock» follows seamlessly on from the band’s previous releases, combining classic hard rock with contemporary energy. Live, fans can look forward to a cross-section of the band’s work to date – featuring legendary songs from the early Gotthard era as well as CoreLeoni’s strongest original compositions.

TYKETTO: In the early 90s, they were one of the most promising bands in melodic hard rock. With the albums “Don’t Come Easy” (1991) and “Strength in Numbers” (1994), the group fronted by exceptional singer Danny Vaughn was well on its way to the top of the scene. But the rise of grunge dealt 80s hard rock a fatal blow and prevented the band from achieving major success. Highly frustrated and disillusioned, Tyketto split up in 1996 after the release of their third studio album, “Shine”. To the delight of their fans, a new studio album, “Dig In Deep”, was finally released in 2012. Since then, the band has been back on stage. In 2016, they followed it up with another strong album, “Reach”, which showed that Vaughn was still a brilliant songwriter. After a long drought, another Tyketto album, “Closer To The Sun”, will finally be released in spring 2026. Alongside Vaughn, Harry Scott Elliott on guitar, Ged Rylands on keyboards, Chris Childs (Thunder) on bass and Johnny Dee (Doro) on drums deliver outstanding performances. On “Closer To The Sun”, Tyketto explore real life, love, loss and pleasure. From the anthemic celebration of the power of love in the title track and the hard-hitting rawness of “Hit Me Where It Hurts” to the power ballad “The Picture”, Tyketto continue to move confidently through the melodic rock territory that made them famous. With “Closer To The Sun”, Tyketto reaffirm their place among the scene’s most respected and enduring names. On their upcoming tour, Vaughn and his band will combine the greatest gems from their 90s repertoire with highlights from their latest albums.
