Rosalie Cunningham is considered one of Britain’s greatest musical talents. Classic Rock Magazine enthuses: “If Kate Bush and The Beatles had a baby together, it would be Rosalie Cunningham,” while Metal Hammer knows: “Rosalie Cunningham is a rock star.” In October, the multifaceted artist will come to Switzerland with her fascinating blend of rock, folk, prog, jazz, goth and pop.

Rosalie Cunningahm is an all-round musical talent. At the tender age of 16, the Briton founded the psychedelic rock girl quartet Ipso Facto in 2007, which made waves with four singles. Various jobs as a backing singer and keyboardist for bands such as Magazine, The Last Shadow Puppets, Cathedral and These New Puritans followed. As a guitarist, she was part of Willy Moon’s band and toured as the opening act for Jack White. In 2011, Rosalie Cunningham founded the psychedelic band Purson, before setting off in new directions after six exciting years. Rosalie wrote countless songs, which she began performing under her own name in 2019. Critical acclaim soon followed, and her self-titled debut album appeared on year-end best-of lists in several European countries. Prog magazine even named her one of the ten best female musicians of all time, and a readers’ poll voted Cunningham best female singer. Over the years, the music has become more layered; the songwriting does not rely on showmanship, but captivates through a broad range of sounds and both vocal and instrumental class. The artist is stylistically difficult to pigeonhole. She proves this once again with her latest work, “To Shoot Another Day”, which offers rock somewhere between psychedelia and metal, with numerous musical flirtations. The Universe By Ear: With their fourth studio album, The Universe By Ear open the next chapter in their band history in September 2026. The Basel-based heavy psych trio combines the raw power of stoner rock with a progressive spirit of experimentation, psychedelic soundscapes and sprawling compositions. Powerful riffs meet atmospheric sounds, warm three-part harmonies and musical arcs of tension that unfold their full impact live. After taking a break from live performances in 2025, The Universe By Ear will return to the stage from summer 2026 with new material and plenty of energy.
