About the party
MONGOLIAN METAL MASTERS
On Uuhai's debut album "Human Herds", heavy guitars paired with ancient Mongolian instruments and vocal techniques create an equally exotic and gripping blend of sounds. Following their impressive performance at the "Motocultor Tour 2026", the musicians from the metropolis of Ulaanbaatar are returning to our venue as the triumphant headliners.
With bands such as The Hu and Nine Treasures, Mongolian rock music has experienced a significant surge in recent years. The breakout act Uuhai are also giving the Mongolian steppe a new, captivating soundtrack with their blend of traditional horsehead fiddles, heavy metal guitars and distinctive throat singing. After their first music videos had already racked up millions of views, the seven-piece band released their debut album, "Human Herds", via Napalm Records in January 2026. With striking stories about Mongolia's impressive natural landscapes, Uuhai present themselves as attentive guides through their homeland, skilfully moving between its cultural roots and modern society. On stage, the band offers an experience like no other. The indelible impression they leave on everyone who has had the privilege of attending their concerts makes them powerful ambassadors for Mongolia. Their remarkable triumph across Europe began in 2023 with a spectacular festival tour that drew around 200,000 spectators in total at renowned events such as Bloodstock, Motocultor, Leyendas Del Rock and Rock Castle. Their fascinating stage presence and revolutionary music captivated the crowds. Uuhai continued their meteoric rise with another European tour in 2024. A major milestone was their performance at the prestigious Hellfest Open Air, which highlighted their growing recognition among metal audiences. Following their last visit to Z7 in January 2026 as part of the "Motocultor Tour", Diebuehrers.com wrote: "Mongolian throat singing, traditional instruments and heavy metal riffs fused into a sound that immediately captivated. The band radiated enormous joy in performing, constantly moving, seeking closeness with the audience and gradually drawing the entire venue under their spell. Songs such as 'Ancient Land' and 'Khar Khulz' developed a hypnotic pull that few could resist. By this point at the latest, it was clear: Uuhai were not merely a support act, but fully-fledged headliners - exotic, powerful and absolutely convincing live."
